Srikanth Gattu has received his B.S. from Osmania University in 2009 and then completed his M.S. from Vellore Institute of Technology in 2011, while working in the bio-molecules synthesis group at Indian Institute of Chemical technology. He received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from West Virginia University under the supervision of Professor Lisa Holland. His research mainly focused on integrating microscale enzyme reactions and lectin pulldowns using phospholipid assisted capillary separations of biomolecules for the detection and characterization of small molecules, oligosaccharides and proteins. In 2019, he joined the biologics and vaccine analytics group in Merck Manufacturing Division (MMD) under the guidance of Pamela Mathis and worked on separation and characterization of vaccines using CE and multiple other technologies. He is currently a senior scientist in the department of biologics and vaccine analytics and his research interests include developing analytical methods for virus & biologics characterization, validation and method transfer studies.
