Dr. Powdrill is a Biologist/Evaluator in the Biosimilars group in the Center for the Evaluation of Radiopharmaceuticals and Biologics at Health Canada. She received a PhD from McGill University where she worked on characterizing the mechanism of action of novel inhibitors of viral enzymes. Following her graduate studies, she worked in the enzymology group at a small pharmaceutical company developing viral inhibitors before joining Health Canada in 2018.
