Bharat Dixit

Dr. Bharat Dixit is currently VP, Bioprocess and Analytical Development at Finch Therapeutics, a microbiome company. He is an experienced biopharmaceutical scientist who has most recently been responsible for the development of an oral microbiome product as well as developing and aligning cross-functionally chemistry, manufacturing, & control (CMC) strategy leading to a Phase 2 clinical trial for the Prevention of recurrent C. difficile using full-spectrum microbiota derived from healthy individuals. Prior to this, Dr. Dixit was heading Formulation and Analytical group at Genocea Biosciences where he played an integral role in developing and leading the company’s Formulation & Analytical function, supporting all stages of product development. Prior to joining Genocea Biosciences, Dr. Dixit held positions at Sanofi Pasteur and Formatech Inc and was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMASS) and University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston. He earned his master’s degree in life science at the IIT, Roorkee, India and his doctorate in biochemistry at the Institute of Microbial Technology, India.
