Göran Hübner

Göran is a physicist by education and started to focus on CE-MS analysis during his diploma and afterwards doctoral thesis. After a short postdoc period in 2009 he not only switched his employer by joining Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals as Head of Laboratory for (biosimilar) protein characterization, but also the molecule class from lipids, glycolipids and lipopolysaccharides to (glyco)proteins. In 2014 Göran joined Boehringer Ingelheim again as Head of Laboratory of a protein characterization and mass spectrometry lab. In this role his major responsibility is the elucidation of structure-function relationships of occurring protein/product variants of BI’s biopharmaceutical development pipeline. Hence, CE and CE-MS assays are still very much in focus of his interest and everyday work.
