Steffen Lippold

Steffen is a third year PhD student at the Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics at the Leiden University Medical Center, The Netherlands. He is a Marie-Curie fellow in the European Analytics for Biologics project and the aim of his research is the development of new mass spectrometry methods for the analysis of therapeutic glycoproteins. In 2017, Steffen obtained his MSc degree in Biochemistry with a focus on drug development at the Technical University Braunschweig, Germany. During his Master program, he gained 1.5 years industry experience at Roche in Basel and Kaiseraugst (Switzerland) in different positions including polysorbate analysis and antibody drug conjugate characterization. Steffen is highly enthusiastic on broadening his knowledge for a career in the biopharmaceutical sector.
