Martin Nemec

Martin Nemec is an Acting Manager at the Gene Therapies Division of the Centre for Biologics Evaluation (CBE), Biologic and Radiopharmaceutical Drugs Directorate (BRDD), Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB), Health Canada. He received his B.Sc. (Honours) in Biochemistry (Biotechnology) from the University of Ottawa, and subsequently a Ph.D. degree in Immunology from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. In 2001, he joined the ranks of Health Canada reviewers/biologists responsible for the evaluation of Quality data submitted in support of clinical study and marketing authorization applications for monoclonal antibodies and gene therapies.
