Laura Rodriguez

Laura Rodriguez is a Quality assessor at the Division of Biological Products, Advanced Therapies and Biotechnology within the Spanish Medicines Agency (AEMPS). After completing her PhD at the Centro Nacional de Microbiología, Instituto de Salud Carlos III (Spain), Laura moved to Rochester (USA) to work as a postdoctoral scientist at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She moved back to Spain in 2018 to work at AEMPS, where she has been mainly involved in the quality assessment of medicinal products of biological origin, including Cell and Gene Therapy Medicinal Products both of products used in clinical trials and in the evaluation of marketing applications. Laura is also member of some European expert groups.
