Kasper Rand

Prof. Kasper Rand is a recognized expert in the field of HDX-MS and a pioneer in applying and developing the HDX-MS method to tackle ever more challenging protein systems at a greater level of detail. In 2011, he received a Steno Fellowship from the Danish research councils and was appointed a faculty position as an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen (Department of Pharmacy) and established his research group (https://pharmacy.ku.dk/research/protein-analysis-group/). In 2016, he received the Sapere Aude Research Leader grant from the Danish research councils. In 2017, he was appointed Professor (MSO) at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Copenhagen. He is a founding member of the International Society for HDX-MS (http://hdxms.net/) and has served as chairman of the board of the society since 2018.
