Chris Chumsae, Ph.D. is currently Associate Director of Analytical Development supporting process development analytics at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company at the Devens, MA Campus. Prior to BMS, Chris lead analytical characterization efforts at AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester, MA for nineteen years. Prior to that, Chris worked at Waters Corporation as an Applications Scientist supporting Drug Discovery LC-MS initiatives. Chris also worked at several small biopharma companies including Creative Biomolecules and Hybridon, where he helped pioneer oligonucleotide analytics to support antisense therapies during the mid 90’s. Chris has authored and co-authored 30 peer reviewed publications and has been granted 10 United States patents. Chris earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from Northeastern University.
