Jean Lodge obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, under the direction of Professor Anna K. Mapp. Her graduate work focused on the development of chemical probes to elucidate the function of specific protein-protein interactions. She started her postdoctoral work concentrating on mass spectrometry with Professor Joshua J. Coon at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is currently a postdoctoral scientist at Eli Lilly and Company in the Protein Characterization Team.
