Dennis Gessmann received his doctorate from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Johns Hopkins University and University of Illinois at Chicago. His academic research concentrated on the folding and structure-function relationship of outer membrane proteins using a wide array of biophysical and computational tools. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2014 with a focus on the biophysical and mass spectrometric characterization of pharmaceutical products.
