Steven Broome

Steven earned his BS in cell and molecular biology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Following graduation, Steven joined the Biological Mass Spectrometry Group at GlaxoSmithKline, where he was introduced to Mass Spectrometry and proteomics. He then worked as a scientist at BioPharmaSpec Inc. applying Liquid Chromatography High Resolution Mass Spectrometry to the physicochemical and structural characterization of biopharmaceuticals. During his five years at BioPharmaSpec, Steven led a variety of biopharmaceutical characterization projects and became the lead mass spectrometrist for the US BioPharmaSpec lab. Steven joined MOBILion Systems in January 2021 as an applications scientist, where he applies his biopharmaceutical characterization experience to the development of High-Resolution Ion Mobility Mass Spectrometry applications for large molecules including glycan, peptide mapping, and intact protein analysis.
