Oscar Salas

Dr. Oscar Salas is Vice President of Analytical Development at Sana Biotechnology. His department ensures that all analytical development requirements of Sana’s products are proactively addressed to meet regulatory and business expectations. Prior to joining Sana, he was a Sr. Director in the Pharma Technical Innovation organization at Genentech/Roche. Other roles in his biotech career include Sr. Director of Analytical Sciences at Seagen and Sr. Scientist in the Protein Analytical Chemistry Department at Genentech/Roche. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from University of Costa Rica (San Jose, Costa Rica) and his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Barnett Institute at Northeastern University (Boston, MA). He conducted post-doctoral studies at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, MIT (Cambridge, MA).
