Michelle Irwin Beardsley

Michelle Irwin Beardsley is a Principal Research Associate in the Protein Analytical Chemistry department at Genentech, South San Francisco. She has 12 years’ experience in the development and application of analytical methods for the characterization of large molecule therapeutics. Her primary focus is on the analysis of complex glycoproteins and N-linked glycans. She is currently the analytical lead on the development of two novel large molecule therapeutics and has made significant contributions to several regulatory filings. Michelle received a B.S. in Biology from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. In her free time, she enjoys wine tasting, live music, and novice kayaking.
