Marcia Santos

Marcia Santos obtained her Ph.D. degree in 2000 in Physical Chemistry at the Instituto de Quimica at Universidade de Sao Paulo – Brasil. She worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Aclara Biosciences in microdevices for DNA sequencing, and in November 2001, she started her career at Beckman Coulter as an application support scientist. Over the years, Marcia assumed several roles at Beckman, from service to marketing and R&D. Since transitioning to Sciex in 2014, Marcia has worked with CESI-MS, CE-UV and CE-LIF methods development, product validation, and as technical product management lead for new platform development.
