Manfred Schuster studied Biochemistry at the University of Vienna and established during his PhD thesis at the Novartis Research Institute in Vienna a high-throughput protein expression platform. During his career in Biotech, he founded and built up Biotech Companies where he developed Biologics to treat life threatening diseases, from the initial idea until the market. He also studied Pharmaceutical Quality Management, is certified as Qualified Person and holds lectures at the University of Vienna. After having spent more than 20 years in the Biotech Industry as Project Leader, CDO, COO and CEO, he joined one year ago the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety as assessor for Biologics.
