Jing Xu received her PhD in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2018. She joined Biogen in 2019 as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Analytical Development and focused on studying antibody aggregates using native mass spectrometry. In 2021, she became a scientist in the same department and started developing native-mass-spectrometry-based methods to characterize intact protein, protein-drug conjugate, and antibody aggregates, meanwhile, supporting routine protein characterization using intact mass analysis and peptide mapping. Her work scope has also been expanded to quantitation of small-molecule-based metabolites and certain host cell proteins using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry.
