Heather Nunn

Heather Nunn, Director Process Development, oversees pivotal biologics drug substance development at Amgen where she is responsible for the commercialization of late-stage molecules. Additionally, Heather leads regulatory strategy, data integrity and compliance, lab operations and high-throughput strategy for the organization. Over her 20 plus year career at Amgen Heather held various positions with increasing responsibilities in Process Development. She has led drug substance development activities across all phases of development from cell line development to commercial launch and life-cycle management. She designed and managed the next generation drug substance labs in Cambridge MA, where she currently works. Previously she worked at sites in Seattle WA supporting FIH development and West Greenwich RI providing commercial support. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Willamette University and a Masters of Pharmaceutical Bioengineering from the University of Washington.
