Gang (Gary) Ren

Dr. Gang (Gary) Ren is a staff scientist in the Molecular Foundry, LBL He received his BS and MS in theoretical physics, PhD in material science, and postdoc training in structure biology and biochemistry. Dr. Ren started his independent research group in 2006 at UCSF and moved to LBL in 2010. His group focused on the single-molecule 3D structure technology development by cryo-electron tomography for flexible protein structure determination, which supported by NIH and industry funds. He has published about 90+ peer-reviewed articles, and services as editorial board member of Scientific Reports.
