Bénédicte Lebreton

Bénédicte Lebreton is the Roche/Genentech Global Head of Technical Regulatory for Biologics Development where she oversees the biologics regulatory portfolio from entry-into-humans through approval of global market applications. In addition, she is leading the Digital Transformation focus area in the Pharma Technical Operations unit.
Prior to her current roles, she was the Roche/Genentech Global Head of Technical Development Project and Portfolio Management, an organization dedicated to the CMC team system, with responsibilities of the technical development team leadership, portfolio management, business development and licensing, and the external collaboration group for the development pipeline.
She had started her career at Genentech in downstream processing development, where she advanced up the scientific ladder working on multiple products, new technologies, and technology transfers. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK, followed by post-doctoral studies at the Kluyver Centre of the T.U Delft and at Genentech.
