Master degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Pisa and PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Padova, Italy. Background in Vaccine Development, leading efforts to develop qualify and validate bioassays and immunoassays to support in-process, release and stability testing for phase I, II, III clinical vaccines as well as commercial products for controlling potency and safety critical quality attributes. Currently leading the Global Immuno and Cellular analytics function in Technical Research and Development, GSK Vaccine, focusing on in vitro and in vivo potency assays. Long experience in analytical strategy for multiple vaccines products, from early to late-stage development in alignment with Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
