Camellia Zamiri is a Technical Development Principal Scientist, group leader and technical team leader in Pharmaceutical Development department at Genentech. Her team is currently responsible for formulation development of various modalities of protein therapeutics, Drug Product process development and tech transfer, GMP fill/finish DP manufacturing support, and technical management of CDMOs. Prior to joining Genentech in 2013, she held positions at AbbVie (Abbott), Facet Biotech and PDL BioPharma in Pharmaceutical development departments. She received her Pharm.D. from Azad university in Tehran, Iran and earned her Ph.D. in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).
