Adora Padilla

Adora Padilla is Director of Global Technical Operations, Analytical at AstraZeneca in Gaithersburg, MD, where she accountable for all analytical activities supporting new product introduction (NPI) and global support for commercial and late stage biological products. Prior to AstraZeneca, she was Head of Drug Product R&D, US for GSK Vaccines in Rockville, MD where she led a team of scientists responsible for the development of novel vaccines and adjuvants. Her industry experience spans several organizations and many types of molecules formulated as parenteral products, including enzymes, proteins, mAbs, mRNA, and synthetics. Adora received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Connecticut where her research focused on formulation and lyophilized dosage form development, particularly for stabilization of macromolecules.
