John Hales

I am the inventor of two novel analytical technologies for
characterising biopharmaceutical products: virus lasers are an
exciting new class of ligand-binding assay in which the
biorecognition probes generate a laser signal, and decayassociated
chromatography is a label-free spectroscopic
technique for quantifying proteins directly in mixtures. As a RSE
Enterprise fellow hosted at the UCL Department of Biochemical
Engineering I am working towards the translation of these
technologies into commercial products.
