Zhihao Mao

Zhihao Mao, Ph.D. is a protein characterization scientist at Teva Pharmaceuticals with over five years of experience in analytical development and bioanalysis across academic and industry settings. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and currently co-leads efforts in peptide mapping, intact mass analysis, and regulatory support for IND and BLA filings. Since joining Teva in 2023, Dr. Mao has contributed to multiple regulatory submissions and authored over 20 technical documents. His expertise includes LC-MS/MS method development and structure-function characterization. He is currently leading a study on tryptophan oxidation, which will be presented at the CASSS conference.
