Xue (Shelly) Li
Xue (Shelly) Li earned her bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, and completed her Ph.D. at Michigan State University under the mentorship of Dr. Jack Throck Watson. Following her doctoral studies, she conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School. Throughout her career in the biotechnology industry, Shelly has held positions of increasing responsibility at leading multinational companies, including Amgen, Novartis, and Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), where she spearheaded the analytical development of biologics and emerging modalities such as AAVs (Adeno-Associated Viruses) and ADCs (Antibody-Drug Conjugates). Currently, she serves as Director of Analytical Sciences at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where she focuses on the development and GMP testing of novel cell and gene therapy products and advanced analytical technologies.
