Will McElroy

Will McElroy has been a Staff Applications Scientist at ProteinSimple, a Bio-Techne brand, for the past 8 years. Within the Applications Science group, Will focuses on customer collaborations, generating new scientific content, and creating novel capillary electrophoresis assays. This includes the recently published SupersonicIEF assay and AAV capsid protein fractionation method. Will developed the CE-SDS PLUS sample buffer and SimpleSol protein solubilizer reagents. Prior to his current role, Will spent 12 years at Genentech, where he specialized in developing and supporting CE purity assays for therapeutic proteins.
