Victor Cruz

Víctor M. Cruz Sr. VP of Corporate Engineering and Global Health, Safety and Environmental Víctor graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. He has thirty-one years of experience in the regulated manufacturing environment, twenty-five of those working with Eli Lilly. Throughout his career with Eli Lilly, he has held several functional and operations leadership roles across Puerto Rico, Indianapolis and New Jersey within Manufacturing. He also led the Global Health Safety and Environmental (GHSE) organization for the company. In his current role, he is responsible for the Corporate Engineering organization and GHSE. His team is responsible to deliver the company’s capital plan, including the delivery of new capacity expansion assets. In addition, his team is responsible for providing engineering subject matter expertise to all manufacturing sites, oversight to the company-wide HSE programs and to drive the implementation of the corporate environmental sustainability agenda. Victor is a former board member of the Pharmaceutical Industry Association in PR and a current member of the International Board of Directors for ISPE. He has been married for over 28 years and has a 21 year old daughter.
