Tian Lu

Tian Lu received her PhD in analytical chemistry from the Ohio State University where she developed novel nanomaterials as stationary phases for liquid chromatography and substrates for MALDI MS applications. After graduation she joined Ashland Inc. as a staff scientist in the measurement science department and supported new polymer material development for personal care products. Then she joined MSD vaccine analytical R&D where she has extensive experience on characterizations of vaccine DS and DP, including mRNAs, recombinant proteins, protein conjugates, live viruses, etc. Her current work is mainly focused on developing analytical strategies for vaccine development and supporting method development and exploration of novel analytical techniques for vaccine process and formulation development.
