Shermeen Abbas

Shermeen Abbas is a Senior Director within the Process Development group at Amgen focused on drug product formulation and process development for biologics. She also leads the drug product platforms team, expanding drug product manufacturing offline capabilities, standardizing workflows, and integrating digital tools. Shermeen also serves as a subject matter expert in drug product control strategies and CMC approaches for drug product development, tech transfer, and process design. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
