Shawn Lawrence

Shawn Lawrence is a Vice President of Process Development at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He has led cell culture development efforts for 25 years, and his team has developed cell culture processes for over 10 commercial Fc receptor fusion proteins and monoclonal and bispecific antibodies. Development areas of focus have included building process platforms, cell culture medium development and establishing quality by design (QbD) development paradigms. Prior to working at Regeneron, Shawn received his PhD at the Johns Hopkins University in chemical engineering on glycosylation projects, anticipating his later career in understanding protein therapeutic quality.
