Sandra Aedo

Sandra is a Sr. Principal Scientist in the Cell, Gene, and Viral group within Drug Product Development at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines, where she has worked since 2020. She specializes in developing advanced therapy drug products, including viral vectors and oncolytic viruses, across early and late stages of development. She is a pharmacist and holds a PhD in molecular biology from New York Medical College. Prior to joining J&J, she completed postdoctoral research at Princeton University focused on bacterial antibiotic persistence.
