Rodrigo Palacios

Rodrigo Palacios is Sr. Director of Regulatory Policy at F. Hoffmann-La Roche. His main responsibility is to advance global policy on data and technology in the regulatory arena. These topics include cloud-based submission, product data standardisation (IDMP), structured data submissions (SPQS), electronic submissions (eCTD), and regulatory information management systems (RIM). Rodrigo represents Roche in regulatory technology groups in the PhRMA (USA) and EFPIA (Europe) trade asssociations. Rodrigo serves as Topic Lead for PhRMA in the development of the ICH M16 guideline. His professional experience has been developed over more than 20 years in Regulatory Affairs, Informatics and systems development. Rodrigo holds a master's degree in business administration from UC Berkeley (Haas School of Business) in addition to being a computer systems engineer (ITESM, Monterrey, Mexico).
