Prerana Pathak
Prerana Pathak is a Scientist I in Technical Development based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a full-time industry PhD student at Northeastern University. Her doctoral research focuses on developing analytical approaches to elucidate structure–activity relationships in nucleic acid–based therapies, including adeno-associated viruses (AAV) and antibody–oligonucleotide conjugates. In her industry role, she designs quantitative, functional assays to support early development activities, with a focus on scalable, quantitative analytics that support CMC decision-making. At this conference, Prerana will present a quantitative assay to assess AAV nuclear entry and discuss its application as a mechanism-informed tool for early development and comparability strategies in AAV-based therapeutics.
