Patty Sachamitr

Dr. Patty Sachamitr is an Associate Director in the Analytical and QC department at BlueRock Therapeutics and serves as the Analytical Strategy Lead for Bemdaneprocel. In this role, she focuses on defining and implementing analytical strategies to support product development, ensuring robust quality control and regulatory alignment. Previously, Patty worked in Process Development (PD) at BlueRock and Avectas, leveraging her expertise in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to advance cell therapy. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford, where she specialized in iPSC-derived immune cells, and completed postdoctoral fellowship at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children, studying patient-derived cancer stem cells in glioblastoma. Patty is passionate about developing cutting-edge therapies to bring innovative treatments to patients. Outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, yoga and travelling.
