Parth Shah

Parth Shah is a Scientist in the Analytical Development group at Visterra, a biotechnology company dedicated to developing innovative immunology therapies. At Visterra, Parth plays a pivotal role in advancing analytical methods for the characterization and quality assessment of biologics, with a particular focus on charge variant analysis, post-translational modifications (PTMs), and potency assay development. With a strong background in protein analytics, Parth has led method development and optimization efforts for techniques such as Reverse-Phase and Weak Cation Exchange chromatography, as well as MauriceFlex cIEF fractionation. His work is integral to both early- and late-phase biologic development, supporting regulatory filings, product comparability, and critical quality attribute assessments. Parth’s recent projects include the successful development of in-house assays such as free thiol quantification and supporting cross-functional initiatives like HCP and cIEF testing for downstream and analytical co-op projects. He has also contributed to technology transfers and instrument qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), ensuring seamless deployment of analytical platforms across departments. Outside of the lab, Parth is pursuing an Executive Master’s in Project Management, allowing him to bridge technical expertise with strategic execution. He is an active participant in scientific knowledge sharing and has presented posters at internal and external conferences, including work on forced degradation studies and charge variant mapping. Parth brings to CEPharm a unique blend of hands-on technical acumen and forward-looking development strategy, offering valuable insights into the evolving landscape of analytical sciences in biotherapeutics.
