Nitin Agarwal

Nitin is the Head of Autologous Process Design at Kite Pharma. In his current role, he oversees process development efforts for Kite’s early to late-stage pipeline and leads activities, such as process development & characterization, tech transfer to clinical & commercial manufacturing, IND and commercial regulatory filing, new technology evaluation, and process innovation for cell therapy. Nitin has 15+ years of biopharma industry experience with roles of increasing responsibility in biologics process development. He has previously led cross-functional CMC teams to enable end-to-end process development and IND filings for multiple pre-clinical biologics, enabled process characterization and BLA filing for late-stage biologics, and helped develop manufacturing platforms for viral vector production. Nitin has a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a certificate in general management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
