Miyuru De Silva
As a researcher at The University of Kansas, I am passionate about applying my analytical biochemistry skills to solve real-world problems. I have over three years of experience in developing novel analytical methods for metabolic screening, protein analysis, and immunoassay, using various techniques such as capillary electrophoresis, spectroscopy, and chromatography.
My current research focuses on developing low-cost, field-deployable analytical instruments for diagnosis, drug development, and environmental analysis, with the aim of improving the accessibility and affordability of health care and environmental monitoring.
