Maya Srinivas

I hold a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology with a research focus on retinal photoreceptor development. Following my academic training, I transitioned to industry to pursue therapeutic development for neurological diseases. Over the past 20 years, I have provided preclinical support for cell and protein-based therapeutics, helping to advance candidates from discovery through clinical development, particularly in cardiac and neurological indications. I currently serve as the Senior Director of Discovery Analytics at BlueRock Therapeutics, where I lead efforts in early-stage analytics for stem cell-derived therapies. My team is responsible for the molecular and functional characterization of cell therapy products, the development of innovative cell-based assays, biomarker identification, mechanistic studies, cell signaling analysis, and the creation of in vitro and ex vivo disease models.
