Max Tejada

Max Tejada is a scientist with over 25 years of experience leading analytical teams focused on the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods for therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and cell-based cancer immunotherapies. He has held leadership roles at companies including Sana Biotechnology, Kite Pharma, AstraZeneca, Gilead Sciences and Genentech where he currently leads the department of Analytical Development Cell Gene Therapy. Throughout his career, Max's teams have played pivotal roles in helping to navigate novel therapies from early clinical phases to commercialization and post-commercialization life-cycle changes. Max began his industry career as a post-doctoral fellow in Napoleone Ferrara’s lab. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Queen’s University, Ontario, Canada.
