Mason Chilmonczyk
Mason is the CEO and Co-Founder of Andson Biotech, an Atlanta-based biotechnology company developing microfluidic sample preparation technologies for mass spectrometry applications. Mason earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2020), where he developed advanced microfluidic platforms for real-time bioreactor monitoring under Professor Andrei Fedorov. This doctoral research, which became the foundation for Andson Biotech, led to the development of the DynaChip, a microfluidic tangential flow filtration platform that dramatically accelerates mass spectrometry sample preparation workflows. Mason has authored numerous publications on microfluidic systems for mass spectrometry and holds patents in sample preparation technologies. Before founding Andson Biotech, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Georgia Tech and served as a consultant on various biosensor development projects. His interdisciplinary expertise combines mechanical engineering, microfabrication, and advanced bioanalytics.
