Marie works for Eli Lilly & Co., providing technical support for the microbial control and viral safety aspects of the biotechnology drug substance manufacture platform. Marie joined Lilly in 2007 and worked within Lilly’s Bioprocess Research & Development organisation in Indianapolis before transitioning to the biotechnology commercialisation centre in Kinsale, Ireland. Marie is a representative from the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) on the ICHQ5A(R2) expert working group, and currently working on the viral safety guideline revision. Marie has a B.Sc. in Microbiology from University College Cork and a Ph.D. in Virology from Trinity College, Dublin.hy
