Laurence Whitty-Léveillé
Laurence is an Associate Principal Scientist in Analytical R&D – Mass Spectrometry at Merck & Co, Inc. in Rahway, NJ. She earned her Ph.D. from Université Laval in 2019, focusing on metal extraction using ligand immobilization on magnetic nanoparticles. Since joining Merck in 2020, she has applied her expertise in metal analysis to support the diverse pipeline and developed a new innovative approach to study interactions between metals in stainless steel and antibodies in formulations. Since 2022, Laurence has specialized in biologics and antibody mass spectrometry, contributing to advancing programs such as ENFLONSIA, Merck’s drug targeting passive immunization of infants against RSV.
