Kristen Nields

Senior Principal Scientist at J&J innovative medicines in the Cell line engineering and early development organization. A key member for the cross divisional E2D team designed to support internal programs. Kristen provides a much-needed bridge between the mass spectrometry and product quality functions within CDS resulting in greater levels of communication and knowledge sharing in the group. Kristen has spent over 20 years in the biopharmaceutical industry with positions at SmithKline Beecham, Merck, GSK and J&J. Receiving a technology innovation award from Janssen for her efforts in developing a rapid cohesive LC/MS method for first-in-human metabolite identification. Kristen serves as an effective mentor within the organization, supporting both development team members and a Janssen postdoc and co-op.
