Karoline Eppler is biochemist by training and has finished her PhD in 2016 at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany. In her PhD she investigated the formation of reactive oxygen species during mitochondrial respiration and its effects on CNS diseases. She is actually working as an Analytical Expert in the Potency Assay Skill Center at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co.KG. Her group is performing mode of action specific potency assays for NBE (new biological entity) projects form early development to launch. She has her focus on bioassay and binding ELISA development. Furthermore, she is responsible for the establishment and implementation of new technologies and platform processes like Design of Experiment (DoE) and automation.”
