Karen Rutherford

Karen Rutherford is an Associate Research Fellow in the Pharmaceutical Research and Development group at Pfizer where she is focused on formulation and process development of complex protein and antibody-drug conjugate drug products as well as developing prior knowledge and platform strategies to accelerate CMC development. Karen graduated with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Queen’s University and completed her Ph.D. and Post Doctoral training at the University of Washington and University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Prior to joining Pfizer in 2023, Karen worked in the drug product development groups at Seagen, Inc. and Genentech, Inc.
