Jana Hersch

Jana is the Head of Corporate Scientific Engagement at Genedata, where she works with customers and partners to build and implement their data strategies into the biopharma R&D value chain. Over the last 20 years, she has held positions in both academia and industry on leveraging experimentation and data in the life sciences. She has a PhD in Cell Biology from MIT and a postdoc from the Whitehead institute in Cambridge, MA, where she used molecular biology and next generation sequencing technology to elucidate the molecular basis of germ cell entry into meiosis and regeneration.
