Hsin-Chieh (Natashia) Yang

Natashia is a dedicated PhD candidate in the Chemistry department at Washington University in St. Louis. She is an adjunct student under the mentorship of two distinguished professors, Dr. Michael Gross and Dr. John Taylor. Her primary research project involves harnessing the power of ion-mobility Mass spectrometry to unravel the structure of nucleic acids, furthering our understanding of these fundamental biomolecules. Natashia's invaluable training under the tutelage of Dr. Gross and Dr. Taylor has equipped her with extensive experience in developing innovative ion mobility mass spectrometry methods. She employs state-of-the-art instrumentation, including the Waters Synapt G2 and Bruker tims-TOF, to masterfully separate and elucidate the structural intricacies of nucleic acids. Her dedication, combined with her unparalleled mentorship, positions her at the forefront of groundbreaking research in the field of chemistry.
