Hiren Parmar

Dr. Hiren Parmar is a Biologist/Evaluator at Health Canada, specializing in the assessment of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) information for biotherapeutic products. Previously, he worked on cell therapy clinical trials at the Ottawa Hospital, where he gained first-hand experience in preparing cell therapy products for patients. Dr. Parmar earned his doctorate degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. He holds three academic degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate) across three different continents (Asia, Europe and North America) and has had the privilege to visit more than 10 countries.
