Henry Fisher

Dr. Henry Fisher is a Senior R&D Scientist within the Biopharmaceutical CMC department at Labcorp, based in the UK. His special interest lies in mass spectrometry and its application in the characterization of biopharmaceuticals. Henry has spent over eight years at Labcorp contributing to the advancement of analytical strategies that support biologics development. With more than a decade of experience in biopharmaceutical characterization, he specializes in mass spectrometry-based techniques, including peptide mapping, multi-attribute monitoring, and host-cell protein analysis. He holds a PhD from the University of Leeds, where his research focused on developing improved methodologies for oligonucleotide sequencing using mass spectrometry. This work laid the foundation for his continued interest in applying high-resolution analytical tools to complex biological systems. Outside of his professional work, Henry enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, often camping and exploring the UK’s natural landscapes. He’s also a keen gamer—both video and board games—and enjoys active pursuits such as bouldering and surfing.
